PRLog (Press Release)Aug 13, 2011 – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania –  Rashada Siojo, owner of newly-opened Siojo Salon, says “You don’t have to travel to New York to have a piece of SoHo.”

On June 6, 2011, Siojo Salon opened at 244 Race Street in the Old City District of Philadelphia.  Directly across from the Old City staple, Scarlett Alley, and nestled amongst favorites, like Café Ole and Salt Art Gallery, Siojo Salon adds a touch of Metropolitan pizazz to Old City.

Offering a full-range of high-end services- signature foot scrubs, full-body waxing and massages, custom-blended makeup applications, and professional hair cutting and coloring services- Siojo Salon wows.

Customers can schedule appointments with industry giants such as Viviane Aires, skin health expert and makeup artist (of VSkin + Make Up) or Roger Mudd, stylist to the stars.

“I like our location because we mix and mingle with the best of the best every day,” says Siojo.  “People trust and value our skills.  They trust and value the fact that we’ve gained quite a rapport with local business owners even more.”

Commenting on her experience at Siojo, Viviane Aires states, “I’m always in and out of town for clients and trainings with skin care lines.  It feels great to come back home to a beautiful salon filled with people who are as equally invested in quality beauty products and regimens as I am.”

Siojo’s newest addition, Roger Mudd, states, “I’ve trained with the greatest and worked with even greater. I’m thrilled to make Siojo my home.  I’m ready to give the people of Philadelphia fashion forward, runway ready hair.”

“I want people to feel welcome here, be it potential customer or competitor,” says Rashada Siojo.  “Siojo Salon’s services speak for themselves.  But we can’t prove that by keeping all this goodness walled up!”  The salon is currently gearing up to open its doors for an industry mixer on August 21, a cutting class on August 22, and the “Siojo Salon End of Summer Bash,” a BBQ and house party, on Friday, September 2, 2011.

An immaculate 2-story salon, Siojo also boasts an outdoor area, and 3-story event space (available for outside industry use).  Trained and qualified stylists are encouraged to visit http://siojosalon.com or drop by the salon to inquire about placement.
